The iCE40 UltraPlus devices are the world's smallest FPGAs with enhanced memory and DSP to enable distributed processing. The Lattice Radiant software is now available for free download.
"Lattice is increasingly seeing customers looking to benefit from the ultra-low power, small form factor, and low cost characteristics of the iCE40 UltraPlus FPGAs," said Choon-Hoe Yeoh, senior director of software marketing at Lattice Semiconductor. "The Lattice Radiant software offers a range of design enhancements for iCE40 UltraPlus FPGAs to drive innovative designs in emerging embedded applications."
The Lattice Radiant software provides a robust design environment and significantly improves productivity and the user experience for designing with iCE40 UltraPlus FPGAs. The IP ecosystem infrastructure enriches the core IP support for the iCE40 UltraPlus device family for a wide range of applications, including IoT sensor bridges, 8:1 microphone aggregation, and face detection.
Key features of Lattice Radiant software include:
- Predictable design convergence or Predictable design convergence with unified design database, design constraint flow, and time analysis.
- Usability features or updated GUI provide simple, intuitive and efficient user operations with a modern look.
- The new design constraint editor simplifies the editing of logical and physical design constraints.
- New warning message console and message filtering functions. or Physical-to-logical design implementation test.
- IP Security and Ecosystem or Compatibility with industry standard IEEE 1735 encryption for IP protection.
