As automotive safety systems increasingly rely on display systems, it is more important than ever that drivers are presented with clear, distortion-free images. Dropped frames, frozen images, and even incorrect warning icons can seriously compromise driver safety. The RAA278830 addresses these concerns with built-in functional safety features specifically designed to prevent image distortion by monitoring signal integrity and the video content itself. Internal diagnostic and measurement engines can detect frozen video, incorrect colors, broken or corrupted video images, as well as flickering, flashing, or other video images that could obstruct the driver's view of the road (in the case of head-up displays).
