These devices are AEC-Q100 Automotive Qualified, designed to operate across a wide input voltage range to withstand automotive stop/start, cold crank, and load dump conditions. They can also be switched to 2.2 MHz to reduce component size and cost. Comprehensive safety and protection features enable robust designs and simplify component qualification. The devices cover a wide output current range (from 1 A to 10 A), provide tightly regulated power lines across temperature ranges, and are targeted at automotive and industrial applications such as ADAS, HUD, telematics, infotainment, clusters, camera recorders, ECUs, smart applications, industrial automation/robotics, IoT, and more. Reference designs and demo boards are available to simplify design and evaluation.

The A8660 synchronous buck driver can handle loads up to 10 A and addresses the ever-increasing need for higher power in automotive and industrial equipment. It features flexible power monitoring with adjustable rise delay for microcontroller reset and power sequencing. A high-voltage, battery-short-circuit-tolerant enable input, combined with a second logic-level input signal, simplifies ignition-input-driven automotive designs. The A8660 is offered in a 4x4 QFN-20 wettable flank package with an exposed electrical pad (suffix ES).

The ARG81880 saves board space and system cost by requiring only three external components. Selectable current limiting minimizes inductor and capacitor size. Its controllable 20ns turn-on time facilitates 18V to 2.5V conversion at 2MHz without pulse hopping. It provides up to 800mA of output current and is offered in a low-profile, 3x3, 10-pin QFN wettable flank package.

The ARG81801 provides good thermal performance for designs up to 3 A, even on PCBs without vias under the thermal pad, and is offered in a "wettable flank" package with exposed 4 × 4 QFN-24 pad.
