motor-controller-6578a-wThe TB67S269FTG is a bipolar stepper motor driver that offers a high voltage of 50V and a current of 2A. High-speed, high-capacity motor drivers are needed in printers, office automation equipment, ATMs, arcade machines, and household appliances. At the same time, customer demands for more compact and sleek equipment designs are putting more pressure on manufacturers to reduce size wherever possible. This is coupled with the need to reduce heat within the equipment. The TB67S269FTG reduces heat and increases efficiency by increasing switching speed and adopting Toshiba's ADMD motor drive technology. It has a low resistance of 0.8Ω or less.

The TB67S269FTG offers high-resolution motor drive technology with 1/32 steps (maximum) to reduce vibration and noise. It is housed in a small QFN48 package (7x7x0.5 mm), which supports size and cost reduction. Safety and reliability are enhanced by the inclusion of thermal and overcurrent protection circuits.

Developed for use in cooling fans within household appliances such as refrigerators, the TB67B001FTG, TB67B008FTG, and TB67B008FNG are three-phase, brushless, sensorless Hall effect driver ICs. Smaller, quieter motors are now essential for use in eco-conscious household appliances. The new products, featuring a 150-degree wide-angle commutation unit, help reduce motor noise and vibration, while achieving rotation speeds of up to 30,000 rpm through high-speed PWM and improved cooling. All offer an operating range of 4 to 22 V and a maximum output current of 3 A.
Package options: 36-pin, 5x5x0.9 mm VQFN36 (TB67B001FTG), 24-pin, 4x4x0.75 mm WQFN24 (TB67B008FTG), and 24-pin, 8.3x7.6x1.6 mm SSOP24 (TB67B008FNG).

Mass production of all devices is scheduled to begin in October 2014.
