The integrated circuits consist of eight configurable HV inputs that support single-ended or differential ranges up to ±25 V. They also include a diagnostic system for predicting and detecting anomalies, as well as for detecting CRC errors. The NAFEx88 integrated circuits feature a high-data-rate, 24-bit Delta-Sigma analog-to-digital converter (ADC), as well as precise voltage and current excitation sources. They have an operating temperature range of -40 to 125 °C and are supplied in a 64-pin HVQFN package (9 mm² x 0.85 mm). The NAFE13388 and NAFE73388 integrated circuits are factory calibrated, but the NAFE13188 is not. The NAFEx88-EVB evaluation board provides an easy-to-use evaluation platform for the NAFEx88 AFE integrated circuits. The evaluation board is also available in a kit (KITNAFE13388-EVB) which includes a microcontroller board to further simplify use.

The NAFEx88 AFE ICs meet the precise measurement requirements of data acquisition systems, industrial automation and process control, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). These AFEs integrate high-voltage (HV) fast multiplexers with minimal leakage, programmable gain amplifiers (PGS) with low drift and compensation, and snubbers.
