ROHM's TRCDRIVE pack™ is a series of SiC MOSFET modules specifically designed for traction inverters. Its compact size is achieved through a unique structure that maximizes heat dissipation area. The TRCDRIVE pack™ family supports inverters up to 300 kW and features high power density and a unique terminal configuration. These modules help address the key challenges of traction inverters: miniaturization, increased efficiency, and simplified assembly.
The modules are also equipped with control signal terminals featuring push-in contacts, allowing for easy connection of the door driver board simply by pressing it in from above, significantly reducing assembly time. Furthermore, the module achieves low inductance between the power terminals (5.7 nH) by maximizing the conduction area and utilizing a two-layer busbar structure for the power circuit, which helps reduce switching losses.
