Motor Scan as an Upgrade:
WEG's Motor Scan solution collects real-time operating data and can monitor as many motors as needed via the Android and iOS app. Based on this collected data, plant operators and technical personnel can schedule and perform predictive maintenance based on the motor's actual condition. The collected data can be transferred to a secure cloud, where it is accessible via a mobile app, a website, or WEG's IoT platform, enabling detailed analysis of the monitored electric motor. In this way, WEG's Motor Scan helps extend motor life and increase equipment availability. The motor monitoring solution can be installed as a retrofit using a mounting clamp. With its IP66 protection rating, Motor Scan is also suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
High-Efficiency HVAC Motors for the IEC Market:
WECM electronically controlled motors have been designed for radial and axial HVAC applications in the IEC market. These high-efficiency permanent magnet motors cover a power range of 0.12 kW to 1.1 kW and rated speeds of 1,500, 1,800, and 3,000 rpm. Thanks to the integrated electronic speed control system, the drive package achieves an IE5 energy efficiency rating and complies with all relevant IEC and HVAC standards.
Offering nominal torque levels up to 18000 Nm, WEG's WG20 range of gearmotors provides efficient power transmission, and in combination with WEG modular motors up to 75 kW and with an energy efficiency rating of up to IE4, this solution is geared towards demanding applications in sectors such as steelmaking, energy or mining.
The MVW3000 integrated variable frequency drives, manufactured in Portugal, cover voltages from 2.3 kV to 8 kV and power ratings from 280 kW to 2,400 kW. Their key advantage is that they are available as a complete system fully integrated into the electrical distribution cabinet, including circuit breakers, fuses, a multi-level power transformer, and a frequency converter. They can be combined with WEG medium-voltage motors to create efficient drive solutions.
