Power elements are supplied in blister packaging for fully automated assembly. They have a round base and symmetrical rotation. The diameter of the SMD connection base should be at least 0.5 mm larger than the diameter of the base structure of the selected power elements.
ERNI offers versions with male or female threads, as well as versions with female threads only. Thread sizes range from M3 to M10. Elements with studs are also available for high-precision positioning. For stud elements, an additional non-metallized through-hole with a drill diameter of 1.2 mm must be supplied. For through-hole elements, additional non-metallized holes must also be supplied, depending on the diameter of the base structure.
The rated current for the SMD power element is up to 200 A. In addition to the standard versions, SMD power elements are supplied with UNC threads or with special customer modifications upon request. The new power elements allow for the connection of cable lugs to the board.
With the SMD versions, ERNI expands its existing catalog of power elements with flexible and massive pressure-fit zones.
