The Series 67 relays are constructed using a lead frame in a single-line (SIL) format and feature moldless coils, resulting in a smaller package than usual for this type of device.

According to Kevin Mallett, technical specialist at Pickering Electronics: "The long-life tungsten contacts with higher power and high current carrying capacity allow the 67 series reed relays to be used in high-performance applications where high reliability is required.
The unusual SIL package style allows for some interesting stacking possibilities, making the relays very versatile when used to build multiplexers or high-density arrays."

The 67 series dry reed relays feature PCB connections for both the switch and the coil. Their sibling, the 68 series, have PCB connections to the coil and fly-through wires to the switch, which isolates the high voltage from the PCB.

The devices are available with 5, 12, and 24 V coils with optional internal diode, and in 1 Form A and 1 Form C configurations. Other voltages can be supplied upon special request, as well as variations in the length of the 68 series type cables.
