Fiber optic detection, which uses optical signals and fibers instead of electricity and copper, provides improvements in security, greater transmission distance, and immunity to electromagnetic interference.
With a special encapsulation, these FBG sensors increase pressure sensitivity, combine stability and reliability, and can be easily integrated into multi-point measurement systems.
The new P-01 type models are characterized by a pressure range of 1 to 150 bar, resolution of 0.05 percent FS, accuracy of 1 percent FS, temperature range of 0 to +85 °C and wavelength of 1530 – 1565 nm.
These sensors have tubes with a diameter of 4 or 6 mm (and custom length), FC/PC and FC/APC connectors and a stainless steel casing.
