The S-02 strain gauges, which can be used to measure large displacements, combine stability and reliability to facilitate their integration into multiple measurement (multipoint) networks.
Fiber optic detection, which uses optical signals and fibers instead of electricity and copper, provides improvements in security, transmission distance, and immunity to electromagnetic interference.
The S-02 type sensors are characterized by a measurement range of 5000 µε, a resolution of 1 µε and an accuracy of 10 µε, as well as a temperature range of 0 to +85 °C and a wavelength of 1510 – 1590 nm.
These FBG models, which measure 68 x 20 x 9 mm, have a pigtail diameter of 3 mm (with custom length) and can work with FC/PC and FC/APC connectors.
