Fiber optic detection, which uses optical signals and fibers instead of electricity and copper, offers improved safety, longer transmission distances, and immunity to electromagnetic interference.
With special encapsulation, these FBG sensors provide high heat sensitivity (greater accuracy), fast response, and resistance to electromagnetic interference.
T14 sensors with up to 18 FBGs feature a temperature resolution of 0.1 °C, an accuracy of ±1 °C, and a range of -20 to +300 °C. The FBG core wavelength is 1510–1590 nm, and the connector can be FC/APC or customized upon request.
