Available in high and low sensitivities, these sensors are aimed not only at mobile open/close devices, but are also highly adaptable to a wide variety of applications, offering designers the flexibility and advantage of horizontal magnetic field detection.
Murata's AMR switching magnetic sensors integrate four AMR elements and a CMOS IC. Offering high sensitivity, a narrow sensitivity range for more accurate detection, and reliable performance under varying operating conditions, these sensors provide omnipolar operation, low power consumption (1.6μA / 1.8V), and operate at a maximum temperature of up to 105°C.
These sensors are ideal for on/off applications, such as mobile phones and laptops, and are also well-suited for consumer appliances, industrial equipment, and security systems. Murata's AMR switching magnetic sensors offer a wide range of sensitivities, including standard (1.5 mT), high (0.5 mT), and low (3.0 mT), and are designed with bipolar sensing (N-pole or S-pole).
They are available in several package options, including SOT23 and SON4. To suit the demands of thinner, high-tech applications and devices, ultra-small (1.0 mm x 0.9 mm x 0.5 mm) and ultra-low-profile (1.00 mm x 1.60 mm x 0.37 mm) options are also available.
