All DSRC series strain gauges have a measuring range of ±1000 megΩ, where 1 megΩ corresponds to an elongation of 0.001 mm per meter of shaft. The output signal is 1000 megΩ for a full bridge, with a repeatability of 0.1% of the interval. The DSRC strain gauge exhibits a deviation of <1% of the interval and a rise time (on steel) of less than 1 ms.
The DSRC AX is available with an axial connector, while the other products in the series come with a radial connector. All DSRC strain gauges are made of anodized aluminum with a stainless steel protective foil and meet IP54 protection standards.
DSRC series tension rings measure surface elongation on beams, shafts, and cylinders. Applications include measuring clamping force on injection or pressure molding machines, presses, or stamping presses. They are also frequently used to calibrate these types of machines.
