Both models are housed in robust, sealed metal enclosures with an IP69K rating for dust and water ingress protection, and can be mounted in any exposed location. Furthermore, the products comply with EN 60068 for resistance to temperature cycling, shock and resistance, humidity/heat cycling, vibration, mechanical shock, and salt spray. The insulation is rated at 2.5kVDC, and the components are IEC/EN/UL/CSA 62368-1 'basic' grade safety certified. Comprehensive protection includes input reverse polarity, over-temperature, and output short-circuit/overcurrent protection.
The RMOD series operates at high performance and is designed for motherboard-cooled operation at a maximum ambient temperature of 85°C without power reduction.
The overall dimensions of the RMOD600 series are only 203 x 115 x 71 mm, including the sealed connectors and mounting flanges.
