An internal overcurrent protection circuit prevents damage to the devices even if their output is shorted to ground. An overheating protection circuit ensures that the device's junction temperature does not exceed 150°C.

Due to the device's excellent output noise performance and PSRR characteristics, it is suitable for use in RF power applications, such as sub-1 GHz transceivers. Its ultra-small 4-pin DFN package, with a thickness of only 0.4 mm, also makes the devices suitable for space-constrained applications, such as financial/credit cards or smart wearables.
