The new device utilizes segmented interpolated temperature compensation technology, which greatly reduces the device's overall error across the entire temperature range. As a result, it is ideal for linear and rotary positioning in automotive applications such as actuators and valves.
The A1377 is available in a through-hole, small form factor, single in-line package (SIP), and offers a wide range of sensitivities and operating offset bandwidths. The accuracy and flexibility of this device are further enhanced by user programming via the supply voltage (Vcc) and output pins, allowing for application optimization.
This ratiometric Hall effect sensor IC provides a voltage output proportional to the applied magnetic field. The quiescent output voltage is user-adjustable from approximately 5% to 95% of the supply voltage. The device's sensitivity is adjustable from 1 to 14 mV/G.
Each monolithic BiCMOS circuit integrates a Hall element, temperature compensation circuitry to reduce the Hall element's intrinsic sensitivity deviation, a high-gain, small-signal amplifier, a fixed low-impedance output stage, and a proprietary dynamic compensation cancellation technique.
The characteristics of this linear device make it ideal for use in automotive and industrial applications requiring high accuracy, and it operates across a wide temperature range from -40°C to +150°C.
The A1377 sensor is supplied in a unique 3-pin in-line package (suffix UC) with integrated bypass capacitors. It is lead-free (Pb) with a 100% matte plating.
