linear1webThe device's ZVS delay control and adjustable synchronous rectification timing optimize efficiency while reducing transformer size and electromagnetic interference, making it particularly suitable for high-power applications up to several kilowatts with isolation.
The LTC3722-1's adaptive zero-voltage technology is achieved by sensing the voltage across the bridge MOSFETs and at the input, allowing the converter to adapt to changes in load current, temperature, component tolerances, driver circuitry delay, or input voltage variations. Other features include fixed-frequency current mode control, adjustable current limit, leading-edge suppression, soft start, short-circuit protection, and programmable slope compensation. A precise 5V LDO regulator supplies up to 15mA to power auxiliary circuitry.
The Grade H version operates at a junction temperature of up to 150°C, compared to a maximum of 85°C for the Grade E and Grade I versions. The Grade H product is tested and guaranteed up to a maximum junction temperature of 150°C, making it ideal for automotive and industrial applications subject to high ambient temperatures.
The LTC3722-1 is supplied in an SSOP-24 package. The unit price for orders of 1,000 units is $6.24 for the Grade H device. For more information, visit www.linear.com/product/LTC3722.
