This series of switching controllers offers all the advantages of a standard switching controller (high efficiency, wide input voltage range, precise output voltage regulation) but at a much more affordable price.
Like the 3.3V and 5V versions, the new 9V, 12V, and 15V modules offer up to 95% efficiency and come with short-circuit protection. Thanks to their dimensions of just 11.6 x 8.5 x 10.4 mm and the compact TO-220 compatible SIP3 package, the modules save valuable PCB space. These versions also deliver their full performance without a heatsink.
Thanks to its wide input voltage range and operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, the R-78E series offers ample flexibility to handle a wide variety of applications, including battery-powered systems, control and sensor technology, positioning and robotic systems, medical technology applications, fans and cooling systems, telecommunications, and highly sensitive measuring instruments. The
modules are certified according to IEC/EN60950-1 and come with a 3-year warranty. Samples are available immediately from all authorized distributors.
