The C-7246 devices are piezoresistive silicon pressure sensors. They provide a highly accurate linear voltage output directly proportional to the applied pressure. The sensor consists of a monolithic silicon diaphragm with a strain gauge band and a thin resistive film integrated on the chip. To achieve precise span, offset calibration, and temperature compensation, the chip is laser-tuned.
The pressure sensor developed by Cebek is especially valued for motor and pump controllers, robotics, level indicators, medical diagnostics, pressure switches, non-invasive blood pressure measurement and barometers, among other applications.
