The PLC has access to the current position indicator values ​​via the bus at all times. When power is restored, there is no need to re-establish a zero reference, as the integrated magnetic position sensor provides an absolute position reading. The AP04 is also fully flexible, allowing free programming of parameters such as spindle pitch, decimal point position, direction of rotation, and 180° screen rotation.

One of the main advantages of this indicator, which is very easy to mount, is its small size, with a 20 mm through-hole shaft. The AP04 has a high-contrast, highly legible LCD display, showing the target position and the actual measured position on separate lines. The target position can be sent from a PLC via an RS485 or CANOpen serial interface.
