"TagID constantly measures a range of physical parameters of the batteries. Based on this data, our chargers achieve a particularly gentle and efficient charge," Spreitzer explains regarding this technology. The intelligent battery sensor system detects, for example, if a battery is completely discharged and automatically initiates the corresponding desulfation process. Furthermore, an integrated fill level sensor indicates when the battery needs topping up. Automatic Ionic Circulation prevents acid stratification within the battery, thus extending its lifespan.
If lead-acid batteries are connected to TagID and Fronius Selectiva 4.0 chargers, fleet managers can be confident that charging will be as efficient as possible. Thanks to the self-configuration curve, charging curves no longer need to be adjusted manually; they adapt automatically to the battery's condition. This ensures optimal charging at all times. Compensatory charging is only performed with Intelligent Equalizing Charge when the battery actually needs it. This can reduce energy consumption by up to 4%, resulting in energy cost savings and making a significant contribution to greater sustainability.
Users also don't have to worry about ambient temperature. TagID comes standard with a temperature sensor and automatically adjusts the charging to the battery temperature.
