These sensors are designed to operate in demanding automotive environments, such as accelerated lifetime testing at 85°C/85% relative humidity. The SHT4xA sensors are AEC-Q100 rated and feature a powerful on-chip heater with advanced onboard diagnostics for self-cleaning and periodic flow compensation in high-humidity applications over extended periods. Suitable for surface-mount technology (SMT), the copper-free, dual-plane, four-pin package of the SHT4xA sensors offers various accuracy classes, with I2C or pulse-width modulation interfaces and optional wettable edges, enabling automated optical inspection of the robust DFN package. The SEK-SHT40A-AD1B temperature evaluation kit is used to evaluate the SHT40A sensor.
