The CSS 014 Smart Sensor measures ambient temperature within a range of -40 to +80°C, and simultaneously records relative humidity (RH) between 0 and 100%. Based on this data, users obtain an accurate climate diagnosis to assess the surrounding environment in their application.
A leap into digitalization: IO-Link.
The IO-Link software simplifies the parameterization of the smart sensor for use in all types of enclosures or installation areas. In addition to simple temperature and humidity switching parameters, the device offers additional configurable events, called "event bits." The user can read the data generated by the smart sensors and process it for intelligent condition monitoring, whether in a machine-level PLC, in dedicated systems, or in the cloud.
Designed for use in harsh environments,
the CSS 014 smart sensor unit is thermally decoupled and encapsulated with a peripheral seal. This provides high vibration resistance and meets IP57 protection standards for the sensor unit. The complete CSS 014 smart sensor unit is rated IP20. Operating voltage is 24 V (12-30 V DC), with a maximum power consumption of 0.3 W. (VDE and UL approved according to IEC 61010-1 / DIN EN 61010-1 standards).
