Olfer introduces the new PV series of DC/DC converters for printed circuit boards with a 6:1 input ratio from the manufacturer MORNSUN. These converters have an input range from 200 to 1200Vdc.
Two models are available: the PV05-27B05 with an output voltage of 5Vdc and 5W, and the PV10-27B24 with an output voltage of 24Vdc and 10W.

Ericsson offers two new isolated DC/DC power converters in a 1/6 brick format, providing a current output of up to 20 A, or an equivalent output power of 100 W. The new PKU-C series was developed in response to the growing demand from midrange IT applications migrating to multi-output power modules for fully regulated intermediate bus converters, and which require compact DC/DC modules to save space in applications requiring profiles of 9 mm or less.

Ángel Sáenz Electronic Components has launched a custom-designed, single-phase phase-angle converter. Its purpose is to synchronize the connection of the mains voltage at any point on the half-wave. This allows for reducing the RMS value of the output voltage to regulate the power delivered to the load according to a setpoint. As shown in the figure, the W1C 400V / 0-400V – 1000A + VF consists of two SEMIKRON thyristors connected in anti-parallel, an ultra-fast fuse for protection at the converter input, an RC protection circuit, and a proprietary BASA 9901 control board.
