Two encapsulation versions are offered for greater versatility: with vertical connections for pressure adapters and with horizontal connections for hose assemblies. This flexibility facilitates both system integration and prototype development.
Thanks to these features, the WSEN-PDMS sensor is compatible with a wide range of microcontrollers and embedded systems. The sensor provides fully calibrated differential pressure data, as well as temperature measurement values (optional), and operates reliably in a temperature range of -25 °C to +85 °C. Optionally, the transmitted measurement values can be supplemented with CRC control, increasing the reliability and robustness of the communication.
The WSEN-PDMS is based on the robust design of the proven previous model, the WSEN-PDUS, which remains available. Like its predecessor, the sensor is suitable for a wide range of applications: from heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to filter condition monitoring, gas leak detection, and industrial automation, as well as medical equipment such as inhalers.
Like all Würth Elektronik sensors, the WSEN-PDMS series is available from stock with no minimum order. Furthermore, it can be customized to meet specific customer requirements. Würth Elektronik offers evaluation boards and a software development kit (SDK) on GitHub to support rapid development and evaluation. This allows designers to quickly get the sensor up and running, verify its functionality, and integrate it into their systems with minimal effort.
