The components are certified as a limited power supply (LPS) according to IEC 62368-1 and can be used in overvoltage category III (OVC III) applications in pollution degree 3 (PD3) environments up to 5000m altitude. They are also certified according to IEC/EN 61010 and comply with EN 55035 and EN 55032 Class B EMI standards, with floating outputs. High efficiency is achieved, reaching up to 87%, allowing operation from -40°C to 70°C ambient temperature without power reduction (60°C for the RAC15-K/480) and up to 90°C with power reduction. No-load power consumption is less than 0.3W to meet eco-design requirements.
The RAC15-K/480 measures 2" x 1.6" x 1" and the RAC25-K/480 measures 3.2" x 1.8" x 1.2", both in a silicon-free package with industry-standard footprints. Applications include servicing electric vehicle chargers, smart grid/metering, IoT, renewable energy, and powering sensors and actuators.
